Your health data.

Effective September 21, 2026

Scope and categories

This policy supplements our Privacy Policy and describes CLERKHERO LLC’s practices for consumer health data, including where applicable under Washington’s My Health My Data Act and other state health-data privacy laws.

Information processed on your device can include medicine, shot dates and doses, injection sites, weight, symptoms, feelings, activity, foods, nutrient goals, water, food preferences, and feedback. The app uses these records to display your history and rank food ideas. We do not upload your journal to our servers for these functions.

Health-related information that may reach online services includes food search terms, requested food and recipe identifiers, search filters, poll answers you choose to submit, health information you publish in Community posts, comments, or your display name, and health details you choose to include in a support email. App use or a visit to this website may itself suggest an interest in GLP-1 tracking. Online services also receive identifiers and network information described in our Privacy Policy. We do not collect precise location or use geofencing around healthcare facilities.

Sources and purposes

The source of journal information, Community contributions, and poll answers is you. Nutrition facts and recipe information come from fatsecret. Device and service information comes from your device and our infrastructure providers. We process this information to provide the features you request, personalize food ranking on your device, display optional combined poll results, publish your requested Community contributions, handle content reports and blocks, provide support, and protect the service—not to diagnose conditions or recommend medication changes.

Sharing and recipients

We do not sell consumer health data. We do not share it for targeted advertising. The providers that may process online information are Google Firebase and Google Cloud (identity, verification, backend and Community and polls), fatsecret (food queries and results), requested image hosts, Vercel (website hosting), Apple (purchases and device services), and our email providers (messages you send). Their purposes and the data involved are described in our Privacy Policy. We do not send your journal with food searches or poll votes.

Community posts and comments are public to other Community users with your display name. Any health details you include can be read, copied, or shared by others. We do not automatically upload your private journal to Community. A nickname does not make a public post confidential. Individual poll answers are not displayed publicly; grouped poll counts appear only after at least ten participants. A user-initiated export or share goes to the destination you choose. Disclosures required by law may also apply. We do not share consumer health data with affiliated companies for their independent marketing.

Access, withdrawal, and deletion

You can view, edit, export, and erase your local journal in Tend. You can remove a poll answer or delete your online account at You → Privacy & about → Food search & privacy → Delete online account (called “Delete search account” in older versions). This removes your Community profile content, posts, comments, reactions, submitted reports, block preferences, and associated poll answers from the active service. It leaves your local journal intact. Delete the online account while connected, before erasing local data or uninstalling the app. If the control is unavailable or deletion fails, contact support.

Record or account identifiers may remain in deletion markers without original content to prevent pending requests from recreating deleted records. Service logs, support correspondence, and records required by law follow the retention practices in our Privacy Policy. Account deletion cannot recall copies other people made or erase all content and reports submitted by others. Resuming online features may create a new account without restoring deleted contributions. Deleting data does not cancel an Apple subscription.

To request access, deletion, withdrawal of consent, or information about sharing, email support@tendhealth.app. We may need to verify the request or help you use in-app controls because we do not collect an email address for the anonymous account. Withdrawing consent does not affect earlier lawful processing. Local logging remains available without poll participation.

If we decline a request and you wish to appeal, email the same address with “Privacy appeal.” We will review the decision and respond as required by applicable law. You may also contact the Washington Attorney General or your local regulator.
