About these terms
Tend and this website are operated by CLERKHERO LLC. By using them, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, do not use the service. You must be at least 18 years old. The iOS app’s license is governed by Apple’s Standard End User License Agreement. These terms cover our service and website and do not remove any mandatory consumer rights.
A tracker, not a medical provider
Tend lets you record information and explore food ideas. It does not provide medical advice, diagnosis, treatment, dosing instructions, or emergency monitoring. Your entries are not monitored by a clinician. Consult your prescriber or pharmacist before changing medicine, doses, or treatment. For urgent help, contact your local emergency service.
Schedules and reminders reflect information you enter. A reminder is not an instruction to take medicine. Notifications may be delayed or unavailable. Missing a log does not establish that a dose was missed. You are responsible for following your care team’s instructions.
Food information and suggestions
Nutrition and recipe data may contain errors, omissions, or outdated information. Amounts depend on the selected serving. Check packaging, ingredients, allergens, and your portion. Tend cannot guarantee that a food meets an allergy, medical, or dietary need.
Personalized picks use your preferences and recorded experience. They are ideas, not a prescribed diet or a prediction of how your body will respond. Your feedback does not prove a food caused a symptom. Tend does not promise weight loss or any other health outcome.
Your records and responsible use
You keep ownership of your entries. You allow us to process information only as needed to provide requested features under our Privacy Policy. Your local journal is not automatically synchronized to a Tend cloud backup. Keep exports or device backups if you need a separate copy. Deleting data, deleting the app, or losing a device can make records unavailable.
Do not misuse the service, attempt unauthorized access, bypass usage limits, automate abuse, submit unlawful content, or interfere with other users. Optional polls have no public comments or profiles. We may restrict online access to address abuse, security risks, or legal requirements. Local records are not a source of payment or rewards.
Tend Plus and Apple billing
Some features require an optional auto-renewable Tend Plus subscription. Available plans, billing periods, total prices, and applicable taxes are displayed by the App Store before you confirm. A displayed monthly equivalent does not change the actual billing period.
Payment is charged through your Apple Account. Subscriptions renew automatically unless canceled at least 24 hours before the current period ends. Manage or cancel in iPhone Settings → your name → Subscriptions. Removing the app or deleting data does not cancel a subscription. Apple handles refund requests under its policies and applicable law. You can use Restore in Tend to restore an eligible purchase with the same Apple Account.
Your existing records, basic tracking, and exports remain available without Plus. Features and offerings may change; any required notices or consent will be provided for material subscription changes. No free trial is promised unless explicitly offered at checkout.
Third-party services and intellectual property
Apple, Google, Vercel, fatsecret, and linked websites have their own applicable terms and privacy practices. Links do not mean Tend endorses medical claims made elsewhere. Third-party food data and imagery remain subject to their owners’ rights.
Tend’s branding, software, and original website content belong to CLERKHERO LLC or its licensors. These terms do not grant a right to redistribute them. Medicine names and other third-party trademarks belong to their respective owners. Tend is not affiliated with or endorsed by medication manufacturers.
Availability and liability
We work to keep Tend useful and available, but cannot guarantee uninterrupted operation, complete information, or error-free results. To the extent permitted by law, the service is provided as available without additional warranties. We are not responsible for losses caused by reliance on Tend as medical advice, failure to follow professional instructions, or loss of records outside our control. Nothing here excludes liability or remedies that cannot legally be excluded, including applicable consumer protections.
Changes and contact
We may update these terms and will change the effective date. Material changes will receive additional notice where required. Contact support@tendhealth.app with questions or concerns. If you stop using Tend, you can export or delete your records and manage any subscription separately through Apple.
