Subscriptions & purchases
How do I cancel Tend Plus?
On your iPhone, open Settings → your name → Subscriptions → Tend. Choose Cancel Subscription. Deleting Tend does not cancel a subscription. You can keep using Plus until the end of your paid period. Apple’s cancellation instructions.
I paid, but Plus isn’t showing. What now?
Check that you’re signed in with the Apple Account used for the purchase. Open Tend’s upgrade screen and tap Restore. Make sure you have an internet connection. If Plus still isn’t available, email support with the error message—no payment details needed.
How do I ask for a refund?
Apple handles App Store payments and refund decisions. Visit reportaproblem.apple.com, sign in, and follow Apple’s steps to request a refund.
What happens to my records if I cancel?
Your existing journal stays available. Basic tracking, saved foods, food repeats, history, and exports do not require Tend Plus.
Using Tend
Why am I not getting reminders?
In Tend, go to You → Reminders and check your settings. Then open iPhone Settings → Notifications → Tend and allow notifications. Check whether a Focus or notification summary is delaying alerts. Reminders are a convenience, not a replacement for your prescriber’s instructions.
Food search isn’t loading. What can I do?
Check your connection and try again. Food search and new suggestions require internet access and may be temporarily limited. You can still log food manually or repeat a saved meal offline. If the problem continues, tell support what error appears; you don’t need to send your food history.
How do I correct something I logged?
Open Journal, find the entry, and open it to edit or delete it. Food entries can also be opened from your meal history. Check the date and portion before saving.
Can I move my journal to another phone?
Tend does not currently offer its own cloud sync or journal import. Export a copy before changing phones or deleting the app. An iPhone backup may include app data depending on your backup settings, but a CSV export is a readable copy—not a restore file.
Community & safety
Who can see what I share in Community?
Community posts and comments are visible to other Community users with your display name. They can be copied or shared outside Tend. Your private journal is not automatically published. Use a nickname and leave out contact details, dosing instructions, and health information you want to keep private. Community features require an internet connection and use an anonymous online account.
How do I report a post or comment?
In Community, open the post’s three-dot menu (⋯) and choose Report. To report a member’s comment, open Comments, then use the three-dot menu beside that comment and choose Report. Reporting sends the item to Tend; it does not automatically remove it. If a menu is unavailable, an action fails, or you need to explain a concern, email support@tendhealth.app with the post title, display name, approximate time, and a brief explanation. Include only the information needed to identify the issue. Reports are not a way to request emergency help.
How do I block a member?
Open the three-dot menu (⋯) on another member’s post or comment and choose Block member. Their posts and comments are hidden from your feed. Blocking does not make your own posts private or remove that member for everyone. To ask Tend to investigate misconduct, report the content as well. Some Tend-created discussion content has no member account to block; use Report on the post or contact support.
What is allowed in Community?
Share your own questions, routines, and experiences respectfully. Harassment, hate, threats, sexual exploitation, spam, scams, impersonation, and sharing someone else’s private information are prohibited. Do not sell or source medicines or peptides, promote unsafe behavior, or give dosing, injection, or treatment instructions. Share only content you have the right to use. Community is peer discussion, not medical advice or emergency monitoring. Automated checks may reject some submissions; they do not guarantee that every published item has been reviewed. Use Report or contact support when you see a problem.
Community isn’t loading. Are my records safe?
Community needs a working internet connection. Check your connection and use Try again. A Community connection error does not delete your local journal. If you are unsure whether a post or comment saved, reload the feed before submitting it again to avoid duplicates. If the problem continues, send support the error message and your Tend version; you do not need to send your journal.
Your data & deletion
How do I export my journal?
Open Tend → You → Export your journal. Save the CSV somewhere you trust. It contains personal health information, so choose where you share it carefully.
How do I delete my local journal?
Open Tend → You → Erase all journal data, then confirm. This removes the journal from that installation. It does not cancel your Apple subscription, delete your online account or Community contributions, or remove copies you exported or kept in device backups. If you want to remove both online and local data, delete the online account first.
How do I delete my online account and Community data?
Open Tend → You → Privacy & about → Food search & privacy → Delete online account, then confirm. Older versions call this button “Delete search account.” It controls the shared online account used by food search, Community, and polls. The operation removes your Community profile content, posts, comments, reactions, reports you submitted, block preferences, and poll answers from the active service, then deletes your anonymous sign-in account. Keep an internet connection and allow the request to finish. Your local journal remains on your iPhone and Apple subscriptions continue until separately canceled. To remove both online and local records, delete the online account before erasing your journal or uninstalling Tend.
What if account deletion is unavailable or fails?
Check your connection and try the deletion control again. If the button is missing, you no longer have access to the original installation, or an error persists, email support@tendhealth.app with “Account deletion” in the subject and your Tend version. Do not uninstall the app as a substitute for deleting the online account. Because anonymous accounts have no registered email address, we may need additional information to verify which account belongs to you. Do not send passwords, access tokens, or your private journal.
What remains after I delete my online account?
Deletion markers may retain record or account identifiers without original content to prevent pending requests from restoring deleted records. Service logs and support messages follow our Privacy Policy. Other people’s contributions and reports are not all erased, and Tend cannot recall screenshots or copies shared outside the app. Opening an online feature again may create a new anonymous account; it does not restore the old account’s contributions.
Can I ask to remove a specific Community post or comment?
Email support@tendhealth.app with the post title, display name, approximate time, and which content you want removed. We may need to verify ownership. The in-app account deletion control removes your own contributions together; a report by itself is not a deletion request.
How do I make a privacy request?
Email support@tendhealth.app with “Privacy request” in the subject. Say whether you want access, correction, deletion, or to withdraw consent. Don’t attach your journal. Because online access is anonymous, we may need to help you use in-app controls to verify the request. Read our Privacy Policy.
For questions about medicine, dosing, or symptoms, contact your prescriber or pharmacist. Tend support is not medical care and is not an emergency service. If you need urgent help, contact your local emergency service.
